Every day most of us rest our behinds on an office chair of some description. I would guess that most of us don’t give a second thought to what went into the making of it.
Even after all these years of manufacturing, the research and development still continues.
One of our popular lines at Valiant Hire, the Zody by Haworth, can be seen in the attached video.( It isn’t a long video so it won’t take too much time, but it is worth watching to understand just some of the effort that goes into making these comfortable chairs.)

Well it appears that the Christmas holidays are all but over for most of the workforce. Phones are ringing and the email inbox is starting expand again. (If you are lucky enough to still be on holidays – we envy you )
A lot of Property Styling jobs have gone out this week as people prepare for the summer selling period.
This is encouraging not only for us at Valiant Hire but also for our friends in the Real Estate sector. There are still some amazing properties out there and when shown to their full potential with home staging or property styling they are commanding fair and decent prices.

Property Styling over Summer – it can really work.

Traditionally, people seem to believe that property sales slow down over the Christmas holiday period. Whilst it is statistically proven that the number of buyers looking reduces, it is also known that those who are looking are serious buyers.
In the time poor world we live in, people are now using their time with their family to look for a new home or even buy a holiday home whilst they are on their Christmas break.
We have seen a higher number of Real Estate Agents email us this year saying they will only be closed for the Public Holidays, showing that they are also strong believers that the buyers are out there.
At the end of the day, you only need 1 “right buyer” to sell your property so why risk not having your property styled.

Display Village Styling the Valiant Hire way !

We know that you are aware of our Property Styling services however you might not know that we also furnish many of the Display Villages that you have seen. Display furniture is an important part of a home builder’s marketing plan.

BMW 1 Series Media Launch Melbourne

Yet again BMW has chosen to use Valiant Hire for the furniture for their recent BMW 1 Series Media launch. (As seen in our video below)
The introduction of the new version of their successful 1 Series was cause for a big celebration. The use of design classics such as the Barcelona & Swan chairs combined with our stunningly simple Outline coffee tables matched this event perfectly.
The success of this much loved vehicle will continue with the new model, with sleeker lines, more room and more equipment – BMW have made a good thing even better.
Valiant Hire was also proudly involved in another recent press release for BMW with their 1 Series M Coupe.

Ghosts turn the night upside down !

The Victoria Ghost Chair is one of the world’s most recognisable products however it is not everyday you get to see it hanging from the roof !
These amazing Chandeliers were created using the Victoria chair from Valiant Hire for the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Gala Evening, QPAC, October 2011 and photographed by Garry Schlatter for Atmosphere Photography.
The unusual use of these design classics created a sight that will no doubt have people talking for years to come.

Real Furniture works for Styling

You may have seen recent articles about using virtual furniture for marketing of properties, however you need to ask yourself why you are thinking about furnishing in the first place.
Property Styling is all about creating a look and feel that shows your property in it’s best possible light. You want that bond between the potential new owner and your property, they need to feel and see themselves living there.
It is about texture, feel, dimension – none of which is possible using virtual images alone.
Your potential buyer needs to see the space for real and see the furniture in place to let them understand how the property flows between rooms, so they can image their new lives.
Imagine the disappointment if they have seen a furnished property online and then turn up to the inspection and it is totally empty – no character – no bonding – no connection.
There are many factors to consider, however remember, there are some things that a computer can’t replace and feelings are definitely in that category. People will fight for a property if they have become emotionally attached – and that is a benefit of a professionally styled home.

When Nature’s design shines – Aurora Borealis

All too often we look at the design and creation of mankind and forget to look beyond and see what nature has provided. After a recent discussion with a world traveler I could not help but look for some video evidence of such natural beauty. As luck would have it, a video came through the inbox that was too good not to be shared.
I am referring to the Aurora Borealis (or the Northern Lights).
The attached Video was made by Flatlight Films for www.visitfinland.com and I am sure you will agree that it is truly stunning. To not share it with our friends would be criminal. Enjoy !

BMW 1 Series Press Launch

When BMW decided to launch its 1 Series to the Motoring Press, the logical choice for the event furniture was Valiant Hire.
As you can see in the video below, the stylish white 1 Series was matched beautifully with the White Gehry Cubes and Bertoia style bar stools.
Just as BMW is seen as sophisticated yet always in fashion, the world of event furniture has followed suit as can be seen here.
